Virtual Online Services, Classes and Safety Continue at Sarasota Center of Light

Sarasota Center of Light continues to maintain a focus of your safety and well-being in August. We are monitoring the activities in our community and state, as well as watching the statistics and parameters as we make decisions related to the reopening of the Center. Please let us know how we can support you during this time we are all in together.  

Our classes and services are currently scheduled to continue online. We have been offering our classes on Facebook live as a public service at no charge. Thank you for the participation. Be sure to share these events to spread the inspiration to as many as possible. We will immediately email and post on Facebook if any changes to the schedule occur. In addition to Sunday Celebrations, 11 a.m., and “Healing, Connection and Meditation Celebrations,” Wednesdays at 7 p.m., the Center also has a series of classes offered on Facebook Live and Zoom as public service presentations. 

Rev. Jim Toole will offer inspiration, information, encouragement and support by presenting “What is My Truth?” on August 8, “Meditation in a Troubled World” on August 13, “Living Consciously” on August 17, “Self-Identity and the Image You Portray in Life” on August 20 and “Developing Self-Love and Acceptance” on August 27, all on Facebook Live. Private versions of these classes and others are available too. Please check the NA calendar, our website and Facebook page for details of our services, classes and other presentations.  

Due to the suspension of in-person activities, we are seeking to keep a balance in our finances. Our campus has 15 properties and buildings which we continue to maintain in preparation for your return. Our source of income is now dependent on your contributions. We humbly and graciously ask for your support. Donations can be submitted on our website’s donate page, by calling the office or by mailing a check. All contributions are appreciated.
