Shaman Journey on Zoom with Butterfly Deerwoman
Because her previous Shaman Journey on Zoom was a tremendous success back in July, Rev. Zan Benham is offering another Zoom-hosted Shaman Journey on September 12, 2–5 p.m., during which all participants can their own sacred space.
We are soon entering the fall season known as the West Gate on the Native American Medicine Wheel. It heralds the time of shorter and cooler days. We live in uncertain, precarious times. Nothing feels solid, and the earth is in turmoil. Our dysfunctionality as a people and a nation seems accentuated—some of us have become impatient, sharp, hateful, biased and divisive. We all need a kinder world, and perhaps that is what this next Shaman Journey could explore or usher in for you.
For those of you unfamiliar with this practice, a Shaman Journey is a guided meditation enhanced by the heartbeat of a large mother drum. This Journey delves into the dimensions of imagination where reality and dream time interweave based on each person’s own rhythms, understandings, frequencies and needs. Guides, allies and totems await just beyond the veil and rejoice in hearing your requests.
Through the reverberation of the drum, inner gateways of frequencies unfold with opportunities for both healing and understanding. The Journey itself is approximately 30–40 minutes. The rest is preparation and processing. The fee is $25, payable in advance by 6 p.m., on September 10. A confirmation email will be sent to each participant following payment, and will include the Zoom link, along with further instructions.
