March Class Schedule at Dance Alliance of Bradenton
The Dance Alliance of Bradenton has joined the Manatee Chamber Of Commerce. We will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house event on March 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is open to the public, and we hope to see you there.
This month, the Dance Alliance is also introducing a new afternoon program for homeschoolers. On Tuesday afternoons, we will host “Prom Dance” for ages 13 and up. This will include party dances and basic ballroom dancing. Parents are also welcome to join. This class is taught by veteran dance instructor Margie Krogel, from 1:45–2:30 p.m.
On Tursdays, we will also host Kevin Haynes, master teacher and choreographer, who offers Hip-Hop classes, for ages 13 and up, from 2:30–3:15 p.m., and ages 7–12, from 3:15–4 p.m. Kevin only uses clean Hip-Hop music, and his classes are fun and joyful.
On Thursday afternoons, we will host a Sewing Class, from 2–2:45 p.m., with Mimi Pickup of Mimi’s Alterations. Machines will be provided (although you are welcome to bring your own), and this class will be geared to students ages 12 and up.
On Thursdays, we will offer a Harp Circle for littles ages 4–6, from 2:45–3:30 p.m., as well. Small harps will be available for classroom learning. We also have “Music and Movement” for 4–6-year-olds, from 3:30–4:15 p.m., to help listening, coordination, and rhythmic skills. Children must be potty trained to participate.
These classes will begin the week of March 5 and run for eight weeks. All classes have a $175.00 fee, and no registration fee is required. Class size is limited, so pre-registration is mandatory. The studio is conveniently located just off SR-64.
Location: 862-62nd St. Circle W #103, Bradenton. For more information or to register, call 941-201-5608 or email [email protected], and a registration form will be sent to you. To view our full schedule of classes visit DanceAllianceofBradenton.com.
