On April 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., People for Trees will host its annual Tree Fair at the North Port City Center Green. During this event, hundreds of native trees will be available for sale in three- or seven-gallon container sizes, and the costs will range from $15–$30.  

The tree varieties will include Sweetgum (no spiky seed pods variety), Florida Elm, Dahoon Holly, Bald Cypress, Red Maple, Longleaf Pine, Slash Pine, Southern Red Cedar, Sugarberry. Experts in the “Tree Nursery” will also be on-hand to answer all of your questions at the “TreeTalks” and “Ask a Certified Arborist” booths.
