All wordsmiths, poets, writers, and literary enthusiasts in the Sarasota area are invited to experience “Way with Words: A Poetic Venture.” This fun, unique, and creative spoken word event will occur on the second Wednesday of each month, from 7–8:40 p.m. 

The next installment of “Way With Words” will be held on May 8 at Rising Tide International. Each reader is given five minutes to perform their work, or you are also invited to come watch and listen to others. The doors will open 6:30 p.m., and performance slots are available on a first sign-first read basis. Admission is $5 for everyone, and coffee, decaf, or sweets can also be purchased for a donation.
