The Center for Spiritual Living Cultural Coast will offer three workshops on “Practical Peacebuilding” in 2025. Participants will learn practical skills for nurturing connections, building community, and transforming conflict. This series will be led by Rev. Theresa Fieberts, who holds two degrees in Human Development and Consciousness Studies and trained with the River Phoenix Center for Peacebuilding in Gainesville. 

These workshops will be presented on the second Sunday of January, February, and March, at 1 p.m. The topics will include social-emotional learning, non-violent communication, restorative practices, and universal spiritual principles.  

Each workshop will dive into practices, tools, and principles to resolve conflict safely, while promoting connection, evolution, and growth. The intention is to raise consciousness, nurture compassion, reinforce the interconnectedness of life, and explore avenues for both collective and personal change. 

Participants will learn how to define their core values and effectively communicate their Starting with interpersonal relationship skills, these workshops will bring trained practitioners into the community as Peacebuilders to facilitate conflict resolution coaching and restorative justice. Such practices can help reduce crime, violence, and bullying in order to strengthen civil society, repair harm, create effective leadership, and bolster relationships.
