The holiday season is here once again—but while our culture often refers to it as the most wonderful time of year, it can also be immensely stressful. As human beings, we are on this planet to cultivate and nurture relationships, but sometimes those relationships can become fragmented. We experience division in our society, which can cause some disconnection in our normal routines and interactions with others. That’s why reconnection is so important.

Evidence shows loneliness can lead to medical issues and significant disruption in our lives. Fortunately, this season can serve as a poignant reminder to invest in relationships and reconnection. Many organizations have been created to help facilitate this, and one such example is Motivating the Masses. This organization is the passion project of Lisa Nichols, and it’s here at Motivating the Masses where I have found a new family. Motivating the Masses cultivates an atmosphere of connection to embrace authentic relationships, while learning to be more present and honest with ourselves at the same time.

When we connect with others, we can discover a better sense of self. Our lives become more enriched, as we share freely love and positive energy with those around us. So, as we enter the holiday season and step into this final month of the year, it’s time to reach out, reconnect, and rejuvenate through our relationships. We can make bridges with our friends and family members, while nurturing new connections in the process. We can all benefit from more unconditional love in our relationships—because love heals everything.
