Student Acupuncture Clinic Now Open in Bradenton
Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine announces the opening of a second Student Clinic located on its new Bradenton campus. Since 2001, students of Dr. Leon Hammer’s Contemporary Oriental Medicine program have offered discount acupuncture treatments in the Gainesville Student Clinic. Now, with the advent of a Bradenton Student Clinic, more students and patients can benefit from these unique, comprehensive treatment modalities.
With techniques such as Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Moxibustion, Tui Na, Gua Sha, and Cupping therapy, combined with Dr. Hammer’s in-depth diagnostic method, students can offer new healing pathways for the clients they serve.
Each session is overseen by a Licensed Acupuncture Physician, and these affordable treatments start at $45 ($35 for seniors and Hometown Heroes). A Professional Clinic is also available on-campus for clients who want to book a session with esteemed faculty members who bring their vast experience and knowledge to the Dragon Rises program.
For those who have never tried Acupuncture—or who are interested in an affordable treatment option—the Dragon Rises Student Clinic operates Wednesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Same-day appointments are offered on a first come, first serve basis.
