The People for Trees Hosts Its 28th Annual Tree Fair

People for Trees, a non-profit native tree advocacy group that has served the North Port community since 1997, will host its annual Tree Fair on April 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hundreds of native trees will be available for sale in three or seven-gallon container sizes. Costs will range from $20–$35, and customers can pay in either cash or credit.
You can choose from a variety of trees such as Sweetgum (no spiky seed pods variety), American Elm, Dahoon Holly, Bald Cypress, Live Oak, Red Maple, Longleaf Pine, Slash Pine, or Southern Red Cedar. Experts will be onsite in the “tree nursery” to answer all of your questions, and “TreeTalks” will be held throughout this event as well. Visit the Greentopps “Ask a Certified Arborist” booth with all of your tree questions, and peruse the numerous vendors, exhibits, food trucks, kids’ activities, and more.
Location: 970 City Hall Blvd., North Port. For more information, call 941-468-2486, email [email protected], or visit https://peoplefortrees.com/
